First of all, I should preface my advice with an assurance to my audience and readers that they all have a story within them. Each and everyone's life is a little piece of history which should be preserved, honored, and carried into perpetuity. No one's, and I mean no one's, life is too mundane to write about. Secondly, I'd like to assure everyone that authors don't necessarily have more interesting lives. We are just more brazenly arrogant to believe that our stories are of universal interest and will be globally sought after.
Now, my best advice is write, write, write. It is the best medicine for the writer and important to the reader, whoever that reader may be. What the end result or the outcome is not important, it’s the process of writing one’s legacy which is.
