Question #1:

What are a couple of your most vivid memories of childhood?
Hanna Golan - About the Author

Answer #1:

My most vivid memory of childhood is my transition from Poland to Israel and my abruptly changed perception of my parents.

In Poland they, my parents, were omnipotent, invincible, all knowing — after all, they survived their families and friends through the terrible war which they constantly spoke about. The moment we landed in Israel, however, they became weak, vulnerable, helplessly in need of parenting, and I willingly obliged by becoming a parent to my own parents.
